Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is the original acyclovir, an antiviral drug that fights herpes simplex, the virus that causes cold sores.
Contains acyclovir 5% in a special MAC-P carrier which assists skin penetration to the virus.Is best used immediately when you first feel the cold sore tingle - using Zovirax here may prevent the cold sore developing at all.Can be used at any stage of a cold sore (may reduce infectiveness) but is most useful in the first 5 days.Is sold by us in the easy to use "no waste" pump.Each 2g pump contains acyclovir to treat 3 or 4 cold sores.
