12 Hour Relief from Indigestion & heartburn Contains Ranitidine hcl 150mg
This is Glaxo Wellcome'ss original ranitidine, a H2 antagonist that reduces excessive stomach acid production for up to 12 hours effective relief from indigestion, heartburn and symptoms resulting from excess stomach acid. Many simple antacid indigestion remedies neutralise stomach acid already present, but Zantac Relief tablets counter the production of excess stomach acid for at least 12 hours.PrecautionsBecause stomach symptoms can be indicative of problems other than excess stomach acid production, or because long term excess stomach acid production can lead to other disorders, we recommend that :- * you do not exceed the stated dose of two 150mg tablets per 24 hours, * if symptoms persist for more than 14 days, or recur, or worsen, then you should see your doctor.Additionally you should , * not take this medicine if your are pregnant or breastfeeding * not take this medicine if you have symptoms of unintended weight loss, difficulty swallowing food, or are vomiting “coffee grounds” like material, or are taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. * not take this medicine if you are over 40 years old and are either experiencing heartburn or indigestion for the first time, or your symptoms have recently changed. * be careful driving or operating machinery until you know how Zantac Relief affects you. On occasion, any medicine may cause side effects. Zantac Relief is usually very well tolerated, but some people may experience one or some of the following :- headache, joint or muscle pains, dizziness, drowsiness, depression or agitation, inability to sleep, hair loss, constipation, diarrhoea or nausea, wheeziness or chest tightness, irregular heartbeat, yellowing of skin or eyes, confusion. Each pack contains 28 tablets.
